Epoch-Over-Epoch Growth
Each 210,000-block Bitcoin epoch is aligned by block count. The latest view compares live BTC/USD with the historical price nearest the timestamp of the block exactly 210,000 heights earlier. The green price dot marks a recent quote; gray marks a retained quote or published daily price. Historical playback and earlier video frames use published daily prices and their nearest previous-epoch block counts. Exports ending at the latest date capture the latest available comparison for the final frame and ending hold; historical End dates stay historical. Growth is (price / previous price − 1) × 100; zero prices mean Not Valued and have no growth percentage. Earlier samples win ties. The logarithmic color scale clamps at 10% and 100,000,000%, retaining signed negative growth. Start chooses where animation begins; earlier epochs remain visible for comparison.
